This item is DISCONTINUED.

The DMB-4K-CPU provides a backup replacement CPU blade for a DM-MD64X64 DigitalMedia™ Switcher or a DM-MD128X128 DigitalMedia™ Switcher. Offers an upgrade to previous model DMB-CPU to enable video preview monitoring of 4K sources, a dedicated Dante® audio networking port, faster boot times, and overall improved performance.

The DMB-4K-CPU features several enhancements over its predecessor, model DMB-CPU. Enhancements include support for video preview monitoring of 4K and Ultra HD sources on the switcher’s front panel touch screen, a dedicated Dante® audio network port, a USB service port, and a more powerful processor for faster boot times, improved touch screen and web UI response, and increased throughput for endpoint control signals. No programming changes are required when upgrading from an older CPU blade.

The DMB-4K-CPU includes an analog line-level audio output, which can be used to feed an external stereo amplifier and speakers for local audio monitoring. Built-in surround sound decoding and downmixing allows multichannel audio sources to be monitored. Volume and mute controls for this output are provided via the switcher’s front panel touch screen or a web browser.
