Adapter Plates and Mounts
These adapter plates allow you to utilize the shoulder of the zoom as a secure place of mounting instead of the adapter tubes. In applications where vibration is of concern, consider a flat mount option. Flat mounts will ensure product stability and image quality. Universal clamps attach to the adapter tube portion of the zoom system and allow for more creative and flexible mounting solutions when integrating the zoom system into a machine or in a laboratory environment where space is limited.

Adapter Tubes
An adapter tube is a required component for the complete Zoom 6000 system. When combined with the C-mount coupler, the adapter tube places the camera sensor at the optical image plane of the zoom system. Most adapter tubes contain some kind of focusing action to critically align the sensor with the image plane, thus producing a system that zooms in focus (parfocal zoom).

Right Angle (RA) and Non-Inverting Right Angle (NIRA) Adapter Tubes
Right Angle (RA) adapters introduce a 90° bend in the optical axis, shortening the overall length of the system. The resulting image will be mirrored, thus erect and read backwards from right to left when viewed with a camera. Right Angle adapters are available in magnification ranges from 0.71X to 5.0X.
A Non-Inverting Right Angle (NIRA) adapter introduces a 90° bend in the optical axis, however the use of a penta prism results in an image that is erect and reads left to right. NIRA adapters must be fitted to the Zoom 6000 body tubes in order to maintain path length. NIRA adapters are available in magnification ranges from 0.67X to 5.0X.

The Zoom 6000 system body tube contains the core zoom mechanism and determines the mechanical nature of your zoom system. Body Tubes maybe zoom or non-zoom configurations. Options include:
Manual Zoom Modules: Manual adjustment of the zoom and focus allow the user to change the field of view and regain focus when the sample they are imaging changes size.
Apertures: Allows the user to adjust the amount of light that flows through the system without adjusting light source intensity. Can improve depth of field when it is adjusted properly.
Detents: Obtain specific "stops" throughout the zoom range by selecting a body tube with Detents. Typically used in systems where each position requires calibration, detents allow for pre-set stops at 1X, 2X, 3X and 4X on the zoom scale
Fine Focus: For applications without separate moving support systems, the Fine Focus body tubes offer focus over a 3mm (coaxial models only) or a 12 mm (non-coaxial models) Fine Focus axial distance at the object. Available in manual and motorized versions.
Coaxial Illumination: Coaxial / on axis illumination is most effective when imaging flat specular surfaces. By integrating the coaxial illumination port, a collimated, diffused and uniform illumination source is integrated into a zoom lens.
All zoom lenses come standard with locking screws on zoom and focus (where applicable).

Lens Attachments
Lens attachments for the Zoom 6000 system attach to the base of the system body tube and are available in a variety of magnifications. The nominal working distance of the zoom system is approximately 90 mm. Lens attachments thread onto the bottom of the zoom system and can extend the working distance out to 350 mm or pull it in as close as 36mm. The extending lenses (0.75X, 0.5X, and 0.25X) decrease the overall magnification, and increase the field of view. The shortening lenses (1.5X and 2.0X) increase the magnification and decrease the field of view. As the working distance goes from long to short, the "taking N.A." of the system increases, resulting in an increase in resolving power.
