STINGRAY – The Transformer Camera
The STINGRAY comes in six different versions equipped with FireWire IEEE1394b interface and high-end CCD sensors in color and monochrome. It is loaded with AVT intelligent functions for image pre-processing, grabber functions ideal for multi-camera operations, and a sequence mode enabling lightning-fast parameter changes. A wide selection of lens-mounts, sensors, casing, cables and interfaces can accommodate the STINGRAY design.
PIKE – Fast and Smart Firewire B Camera
The PIKE family includes five fast high performance IEEE 1394b C-Mount cameras equipped with high-quality CCD sensors and has recently received additional “performance camera functions” that include speed increase modes, anti-smear function, and high sensitivity and noise intervals. Its compact size, image quality, and fast speed make PIKE a highly sophisticated camera for all individual applications.
GUPPY – Small C-mount Cameras
The GUPPY is a new series of entry level cameras featuring image pre-processing that make up image quality without using PC calculation power, asynchronous and synchronous triggering, and quality black and white/color images packed into an ultra compact size that fits system space requirements. It comes equipped with True Partial Scan and highly sensitive high-quality sensors (CCD, CMOS) with two additional ultra sensitive interlace versions.
Allied Vision Technologies also provides specialized digital camera interfaces and software. All software packages (AVT FirePackage, Active FirePackage, Direct FirePackage, and Fire4Linux) are free of charge and contain the following:
