Protection filters like our clear filters protect sensitive front elements of lenses and/or filters against environmental damage without having any effect on the final image. These filters are every day companions - not only under rough conditions. Clear filters fulfill the desire of cinematographers for lens protection. Their function is to keep debris and other elements like sand, water e.g. away from the front lens. Furthermore, they provide the truest image, free of unwanted color shifts or other effects.
